Kevin Lewis joined Sparer Law Group in April 2009. His practice focuses on representing businesses and individuals in securities litigation and arbitration, intellectual property disputes, and other commercial and complex litigation. Before joining the Sparer Law Group, Kevin practiced for more than ten years as a litigation attorney and partner at the law firm of Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Falk & Rabkin. He has substantial trial and arbitration experience in venues throughout the country, including a notable 2008 verdict in a bench trial in Montana District Court. He also has assisted corporate clients with various issues involving e-discovery, including preserving, reviewing, and producing e-mail and other digital information.

REPRESENTATIVE CASES
Represented Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. in complex class action litigation involving RICO and fraud-related claims of over $300 million stemming from the collapse of an IRS Section 1031 Exchange Company in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Defended publicly traded bank against trade secret and unfair competition claims of over $100 million stemming from the hiring of 24 bankers from rival financial institution. Claims successfully resolved in mediation.
Represented national brokerage firm in class action jury trial in Washington state court arising out of $20 million defaulted municipal bond offering. Won unanimous jury verdict in favor of defense.
Represented publicly traded media company in litigation brought by founder alleging breach of operating agreement and stock purchase agreement. Case favorably resolved through a confidential settlement when motion practice initiated by company resulted in change of venue from superior court to AAA.
